I May Be Sick
I have such an inability to get to work on time that I’m starting to wonder if it’s a mental illness. You see, I know that I need to leave for work at a certain time to get to work at a certain time. I know how to take distance, drive time, and even traffic into consideration. I have the ability to reason.
And yet, with all that in mind, I cannot get to work on time. I can’t even leave the house on time. In fact, lately, I’ve quite often left the house after my work start time. After!!!
What the f-ing hell?
It’s a brain condition. I’m convinced of it.

How Does it Happen?
Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, let me just state - this is not a comparison of Obama to Hitler. I’ll leave that to the Republicans and Fox. I do think, however, if the experts choose to ignore this moment in history, they are missing a very good opportunity for sociological study.
When talking about the Holocaust, how often have you heard the question “How did it happen?” How did Hitler convince millions upon millions of normal, decent people to follow him? That’s a sticking point that a lot of people today cannot wrap their minds around.
They should be able to now.
See, Hitler was a good orator. He made good speech. He promised the Germans that he would pull them out of economic strife and change the country. He did both of those things.
The point is… if they pay attention, experts can learn something from Obamamania. I don’t believe that Obama hates any particular group of people. I can’t really see that he has a strong opinion on much of anything. What I can see is that he draws throngs to him, people who scream and cry and fall under his spell. I can see that his followers think that he is above most politicians, that he is inherently better than most people, less flawed, closer to perfect.
The problem with this kind of hero worship is… If he is elected and then he does something wrong, will anyone see it? Or will nothing look wrong to them, because they think he is too perfect to make mistakes?

Shade Your Windows with Stylish Blinds
Do you have a home that you own or live some place where you are allowed to decorate the place as you see fit? If so, you will want to make sure that you have some window blinds in all of your windows. I live in an apartment right now and it came with blinds in all of the windows, which is a good thing for me. I really like having blinds in all of the windows as it helps me to control the temp and the lighting in the rooms. For instance, in the hot summer afternoons I can close the window blinds so that it does not get too toasty in the room. And in the cold winter time I can leave them open to let the warm sunshine in. Of course, at the place that I live now I keep them closed all the time since it is winter and the windows are poorly insulated. So keeping the window blinds closed helps me to keep it warmer in my apartment during the winter time.
If you do not have window blinds in your home or just want to get some new ones then you need to check out JustBlinds.com to get some new window blinds for your home. They have been around since 1999 and can help you out no matter what your are looking for to decorate your window blinds with.

I Have Been Forewarned of Impending Doom
You know, you come to work, and you’re like “Whatever. It’s cool. I’m going to make the best of it.” Then this happens.
A email pops up in your inbox. Cautiously, you open it to find this:
We will be having a meeting at 2:15 today in the board room, this includes our temps.
I’m trying to make the best of it here! I’m trying to do the things I want to do, while, occasionally adding in just enough work not to get fired. I’m trying to be the best employee I know how to be. (I know. Sad, isn’t it?) And then you spring this torture on me?!?
Don’t you know that I can’t work under these conditions? What do you want me to do? Quit? Forfeit my unearned paycheck?
No!
I will come to your meeting. I will sit in your large, corporate boardroom at your cold, corporate table and pretend to pay attention.
You will not defeat me!
