A Fabulous Day for Doing Hardly Anything at All

Man, this day has been so totally not that bad. The woman in the adjacent cubicle took the day off. So, by roughly 9:30, I had done almost all of the work to meet my newly implemented quota. After that, I did nothing but work on my story all day. And, yes, spending the entire day putting all time and energy into one small part of one story does seem tedious, but it was actually rather enjoyable. And to be honest, it probably could have gotten done somewhat faster if I hadn’t been so damn tired today. Don’t know what that’s about.

Also, I finally managed to beat the newly installed sauna at the office and wore appropriate layers. When it got a super kind of hot in there, I just went sleeveless. Dress code or not, it sure was considerably more comfy than almost passing out due to the heat.

And I had edamame for lunch! Num, num, num.
